Hi. My name is Donnie Sapp and I am the founder and president of Sapp’s Fitness Garage.
Working out and staying active has been a major part of my life since I was 10 years old. I joined my first gym when I was 12 years of age. Everyday after school I would run over to the gym on my way home and lift weights, swim, play basketball and then hit the steam and sauna room and then walk home and do my homework. I am almost 51 years of age now, so that means I have been exercising for 38 years and I still love it and as passionate about it as I was when I was just a kid. Now I enjoy helping others develop their love for the gym and all that comes with it, which is so much more than you realize.
Please accept my personal invitation to come visit us and see what all the buzz is about at Sapp’s Fitness Garage.

real person with real struggles
Hi, I'm Telura, but many of my friends call me Tia. :-) I understand why you are here. Getting started in a fitness routine can be difficult; for that matter, staying fit can be hard, too! But support and accountability helps so much.
Like many of you out there, life stresses and struggles put me on a path of inconsistency and the yo-yo weight loss and weight gain for about 20 years. In the back of my mind, I knew I wanted to be strong and healthy and truly live the healthy lifestyle. Finally, at age 46, I found the accountability partner (Donnie) that I needed to stay consistent with diet and exercise. I started with small goals. As I achieved each one, I created new ones. Learning new meal planning strategies was one of the achievements during this process. Now that I’ve achieved great strides in strength and cardiovascular endurance and my eating habits, I have new goals which includes supporting others who have had the same struggles. Having turned 50, I know that fitness is so more than just feeling good in my clothes, it's about overall wellness that will allow me to live a long healthy life.
Bottom line: Finding a person, place or group of people who are supportive and encouraging makes a huge difference in your dedication to healthy lifestyle. We understand and are here for you!!!
